Philadelphia University

Philadelphia Private University was established in 1989 as a national higher educational institution. Philadelphia University has fourteen faculties and a student body of more than seven thousand students. The Faculty of Engineering was established in 1991 and 2018 was expanded to include technology disciplines and therefore it became the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. The faculty has academic staff and students in seven bachelor disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Communications and Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, and Alternative Energy Technology. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology works continuously to achieve excellence in the fields of engineering and technological academic teaching, scientific research and support local society. The educational system emphasizes on practical engineering skills that include: engineering design, problem-solving, leadership, continuous learning, sustainability, creativity, and up-to-date software platforms. The faculty has been granted more than 60 local, regional, and international awards and our staff has published more than 400 top-notch research in local and international conferences and journals.
